A trained and certified employee inspects the construction situation on site and discusses with you a suitable position for the house entry and possible placement of the technical devices. Photos may be taken of the respective locations so that the installer knows what to pay attention to when activating the fiber optic connection.

Digital applications such as HD streaming, UHD TV and faster and reliable internet are becoming increasingly important in everyone’s life. In recent years, there has been rapid advancement in networking technology that has enabled the use of fiber optics to provide higher quality bandwidth. Fiber optic cables are capable of enabling transmission over greater distances and at higher bandwidths (data rates) than copper wires. Fiber optic cables will therefore be able to cope with increasing data volumes and the rapidly growing needs of customers in the coming years.

CIVIL ENGINEERING

Step 1: Civil engineering work with an earth rocket enables the laying of an empty pipe in an almost closed construction. This preferred and most common method is chosen when nothing stands in the way of a straight drilling and there are no obstacles underground. Only two holes are dug, one on the side of the road and the other on the wall of the house. This means the earth rocket can easily drill under anything without damaging paved paths, for example. In contrast to an open design, the earth rocket is significantly more time and cost-saving.

NE4 INTERNAL WIRING​

NE4 – fiber optics into the home. Our solution package presented represents a tried and tested product that has been used successfully in the expansion of network level 4 for several years. For a targeted expansion of FTTH, it is not only sufficient to connect the buildings to the fiber optic network (FTTB), but it is also important to equip the individual residential units within the buildings with appropriate connections (FTTH). The establishment of fiber optic connections from the central main transfer point (HÜP) to the apartments plays a key role here. The expansion of this specific network level 4 brings with it particular challenges during the rollout. Why? The buildings have different ownership and living situations. Rental apartments alternate with condominiums, and the existing cable systems are often not suitable for the transmission of fiber optic signals. In addition, there are often licensing agreements and unclear ownership relationships with regard to solutions that have already been installed. Therefore, the only option that is often left is to subsequently install a fiber optic cable network in the buildings. In 90% of all applications, our experience has shown that the most efficient and fastest solution is the subsequent installation of point-to-point cabling between the central HÜP and the termination points in the apartments.
